We were on the pilgrimage when we stopped to rest under the shade of a tree, and Ibn Sayyad came along and sat down beside me.I said to myself, "Why has Allah inflicted this man upon me?"He came over to me and said, "Abu Saeed, don't you see what I suffer at the hands of people? They say I am the Dajjal. Didn't you hear the Prophet ﷺ say that the Dajjal will have no children, that he will not enter Medina, and that he will not enter Mecca? I have just come from Medina, and here I am heading to Mecca." Hammad added that he said he had already entered Mecca and that children had been born to him.I felt sorry for him, until he then said, "By Allah, I know exactly where he is at this very moment, and I know who his parents are."I said to him, "May ruin befall you for the rest of the day."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا سعيد الجريري عن أبي نضرة
حججنا فنزلنا تحت ظل شجرة وجاء ابن صائد فنزل إلى جنبي قال فقلت ما صب الله هذا علي فجاءني فقال يا أبا سعيد أما ترى ما ألقى من الناس يقولون أنت الدجال أما سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول إن الدجال لا يولد له ولا يدخل المدينة ولا مكة وقد جئت الآن من المدينة وأنا هو ذا أذهب إلى مكة وقد قال حماد وقد دخل مكة وقد ولد لي حتى رققت له ثم قال والله إن أعلم الناس بمكانه الساعة أنا فقلت تبا لك سائر اليوم
