His father reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you yawns, let him place his hand over his mouth, for Satan enters."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا وهيب
أبيه أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا تثاءب أحدكم فليمسك يده على فيه فإن الشيطان يدخل
Its isnad is sahih. Suhayl is Ibn Abu Salih, whose hadith is transmitted by all except Bukhari, who paired him with another narrator. The hadith previously appeared at 11201.
