I heard Abu Qasim say, "There is no prayer after the dawn prayer until the sun rises, and no prayer after the afternoon prayer until nightfall."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق وابن بكر قالا أنا ابن جريج قال أخبرني عمر بن أبي عطاء بن أبي الخوار عن عبيد الله بن عياض وعطاء بن بخت كلاهما يخبر عمر بن عطاء
سمعت أبا القاسم يقول لا صلاة بعد صلاة الصبح حتى تطلع الشمس ولا صلاة بعد صلاة العصر حتى الليل
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators are trustworthy, and Ataa bin Bakht is trustworthy. Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators, 5/201, and Bukhari mentioned him in Tarikh al-Kabir, 6/463, without mentioning any criticism of him, and likewise Ibn Abu Hatim in Al-Jarh, 6/331. The hadith has already appeared at 11839.
