We set out with the Prophet ﷺ on the eighteenth day of Ramadan. Some of us fasted while others did not, and neither group criticized the other.Shuba said, "Four people narrated this hadith to me, one of whom was Qatada, and this is Qatada's wording."
حدثنا حجاج حدثنا شعبة عن قتادة قال سمعت أبا نضرة
خرجنا مع النبي ﷺ في ثمان عشر مضت من رمضان فصام صائمون وأفطر مفطرون فلم يعب هؤلاء على هؤلاء ولا هؤلاء على هؤلاء قال شعبة حدثني بهذا الحديث أربعة أحدهم قتادة وهذا حديث قتادة
