The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood at Arafah supplicating in this manner. He turned the backs of his hands toward his face and raised them above his chest and below his shoulders.
حدثنا يونس حدثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة عن بشر بن حرب قال سمعت
وقف رسول الله ﷺ بعرفة فجعل يدعو هكذا وجعل ظهر كفيه مما يلي وجهه ورفعهما فوق ثندوتيه وأسفل من منكبيه
