The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would stand during the noon prayer in the first two units for the length of reciting about thirty verses in each unit, and in the last two units for the length of reciting about fifteen verses in each unit. In the afternoon prayer, he would stand in the first two units for the length of reciting about fifteen verses in each unit, and in the last two units for about half of that.

كان رسول الله ﷺ يقوم في الظهر في الركعتين الأوليين في كل ركعة قدر قراءة ثلاثين آية وفي الأخريين في كل ركعة قدر قراءة خمس عشرة آية وكان يقوم في العصر في الركعتين الأولتين في كل ركعة قدر قراءة خمس عشرة آية وفي الأخرتين قدر نصف ذلك
Its isnad is sahih. Walid Abu Bishr is Ibn Muslim Anbari, a trustworthy and firmly reliable narrator. In the printed edition it appears as "Walid bin Bishr," which is an error, since there is no narrator named Walid bin Bishr. The hadith has already appeared at 10928.
