The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The pilgrim in a state of ihram may kill the viper, the scorpion, the kite, the rabid dog, and the little corrupter."I asked, "What is the little corrupter?"He replied, "The mouse."I asked, "What is the matter with the mouse?"He answered, "The Prophet ﷺ once woke up to find that a mouse had taken the lamp wick and climbed with it up to the ceiling, intending to set the house ablaze upon him."
حدثنا عثمان بن محمد وسمعته أنا من عثمان حدثنا جرير عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي نعم
قال رسول الله ﷺ يقتل المحرم الأفعى والعقرب والحداء والكلب العقور والفويسقة قلت ما الفويسقة قال الفأرة قلت وما شأن الفأرة قال إن النبي ﷺ استيقظ وقد أخذت الفتيلة فصعدت بها إلى السقف لتحرق عليه
