The Prophet ﷺ used to perform voluntary prayers on his mount, wherever it faced, indicating the movements with gestures and making his prostration lower than his bowing.Abdullah said, "The correct name is Atiya."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا ابن أبي ليلى عن عطاء أو عطية عن أبي سعيد وعن نافع
أن النبي ﷺ كان يصلي على راحلته في التطوع حيثما توجهت به يومئ إيماء ويجعل السجود أخفض من الركوع قال عبد الله والصواب عطية
Its isnad is sahih through the route of Ataa and Nafi, and hasan through the route of Atiya. The hadith was narrated by Tirmidhi 5/205 no. 2958 in the tafsir of Surah Baqarah, and he said, hasan sahih, and by Abdul-Razzaq 2/576 no. 4520 in the book of prayer, chapter on voluntary prayer while riding.
