The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let no man be prevented by fear of others from speaking the truth when he knows it."Then Abu Saeed wept and said, "By Allah, we witnessed things and did not stand up for what was right."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد عن علي بن زيد عن الحسن أن
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يمنعن رجلا مهابة الناس أن يقوم بحق إذا علمه قال ثم بكى أبو سعيد قال قد والله شهدناه فما قمنا به
