A man from the People of the Suffah died and left behind a Dinar and a Dirham. It was said, "Messenger of Allah, he left behind a Dinar and a Dirham."He said, "Two brands of fire. Pray over your companion yourselves."
Its isnad is daif because Utbah al-Darir is unknown.Qatan bin Nusayr Abu Abbad al-Dhira is truthful but makes mistakes. Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators, and Muslim narrated from him.Qatan is spelled with fatha on the qaf and the ta. Nusayr is spelled with damma on the nun and fatha on the sin. This hadith is a repeat of 1156.
