From the pulpit, he said, "People, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Nothing breaks the prayer except hadath.' I will not feel shy of telling you what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not feel shy of mentioning."He explained that hadath means breaking wind, whether silently or audibly.

Its chain of transmission is daif. Habban bin Ali Anazi Kufi: Bukhari said in Duafa 11, "He is not considered reliable by them," and he said the same in Tarikh al-Kabir 2/1/81. Nasai said 10, "Daif, Kufi." Habban is spelled with a kasra on the ha and a doubled ba.Darrar bin Mura Kufi is thabt and reliable.Husayn Mazani, Ibn Main said, "I do not know him." The Hafiz said in Tajil 97-98, "Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the reliable narrators, calling him Husayn bin Abdullah Shaybani." I believe this is an error, or something close to an error, for what connection is there between Mazina and Shayban? Perhaps the Hafiz made a mistake and became confused. However, this Husayn Mazani is a follower of the companions, and the followers are to be trusted regarding sunnah and reliability until we find clear evidence of criticism against them. His lineage is mentioned in Tajil as "Madani" with a dal, but this, in my view, is a printing error.The hadith appears in Zawaid 1:243, where it states, "Abdullah bin Ahmad related it in his additions to his father's work, and Tabarani related it in al-Awsat." Regarding Husayn, Ibn Main said, "I do not know him."
