The Prophet ﷺ was brought some dates, and he was impressed by their quality.The people said, "Messenger of Allah, we exchanged two measures for one of these so that we could eat them."He disliked this and forbade it.

عن النبي ﷺ أنه أتي بتمر فأعجبه جودته فقالوا يا رسول الله إنا أخذنا صاعا بصاعين لنطعمه فكره ذلك ونهى عنه
