When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rose at night and began his prayer with the opening takbir, he would say, "Glory be to You, Allah, and praise be to You. Blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no god besides You."Then he would say three times, "There is no god but Allah."Then he would say, "I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the accursed Satan, from his promptings and his arrogance."Then he would say three times, "Allah is greatest."Then he would say, "I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the accursed Satan, from his promptings, his arrogance, and his evil whispers."
