Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

Abu Rabi, in his narration from Maysara Abu Jamila, reported from Ali that he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to a black slave-woman of his who had committed fornication, instructing me to carry out the prescribed punishment on her. I found her still bleeding, so I went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of this."He said to me, "When she has recovered from her postnatal bleeding, give her fifty lashes."In Abu Rabi's version, he said, "I informed the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, 'When her bleeding has stopped, carry out the punishment on her.'" Then he said, "Carry out the prescribed punishments."

عن علي رضي الله عنه وقال

أبو الربيع في حديثه عن ميسرة أبي جميلة عن علي رضي الله عنه أنه قال أرسلني رسول الله ﷺ إلى أمة له سوداء زنت لأجلدها الحد قال فوجدتها في دمائها فأتيت النبي ﷺ فأخبرته بذلك فقال لي إذا تعالت من نفاسها فاجلدها خمسين وقال أبو الربيع في حديثه قال فأخبرت النبي ﷺ فقال إذا جفت من دمائها فحدها ثم قال أقيموا الحدود
