The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Satan creates doubt for one of you while he is in his prayer, suggesting, 'You have broken your wudu,' let him say to himself, 'You are lying,' until he hears a sound with his ears or detects an odor with his nose. And when one of you prays and does not know whether he added or omitted something, let him perform two prostrations while seated."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن يحيى بن أبي كثير قال أخبرني هلال بن عياض أنه
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا شبه على أحدكم الشيطان وهو في صلاته فقال أحدثت فليقل في نفسه كذبت حتى يسمع صوتا بأذنيه أو يجد ريحا بأنفه وإذا صلى أحدكم فلم يدر أزاد أم نقص فليسجد سجدتين وهو جالس
