The Prophet ﷺ would go out on the day of Eid al-Fitr and lead the people in those two units of prayer. Then he would step forward and face the people while they remained seated, saying, "Give in charity, give in charity, give in charity," three times.The ones who gave most in charity were the women, donating earrings, rings, and whatever they had. If he had a matter concerning a military expedition, he would mention it, and if he had nothing else, he would leave.

كان النبي ﷺ يخرج يوم العيد في الفطر فيصلي بالناس تينك الركعتين ثم يتقدم فيستقبل الناس وهم جلوس فيقول تصدقوا تصدقوا تصدقوا ثلاث مرات قال فكان أكثر ما يتصدق من الناس النساء بالقرط والخاتم والشيء فإن كانت له حاجة في البعث ذكره وإن لم يكن له انصرف
