The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let none of you belittle himself by witnessing a matter concerning which Allah requires him to speak out, yet remaining silent. For Allah will say to him, 'What prevented you from speaking out about it?' He will reply, 'My Lord, I feared people.' Allah will then say, 'I had a greater right to be feared.'"
حدثنا ابن نمير أنبأنا الأعمش عن عمرو بن مرة عن أبي البختري
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يحقرن أحدكم نفسه أن يرى أمرا لله عليه فيه مقالا ثم لا يقوله فيقول الله ما منعك أن تقول فيه فيقول رب خشيت الناس فيقول وأنا أحق أن يخشى
