The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The time is near when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep that he takes to the mountain peaks and places where rain falls, fleeing with his religion from trials."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الأنصاري عن أبيه أنه
قال رسول الله ﷺ يوشك أن يكون خير مال المسلم غنم يتبع بها شعف الجبال ومواقع القطر يفر بدينه من الفتن
Its isnad is sahih. Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman Ansari is maqbul, and Abu Abdul-Rahman bin Thabit is said to have had companionship with the Prophet, though whoever does not affirm his companionship says that he is among the trustworthy Followers. The hadith has already been mentioned at 10973.
