Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah will question His servant on the Day of Resurrection until He asks, 'What prevented you from denouncing evil when you saw it?' When Allah grants the servant his answer, he will say, 'My Lord, I trusted in You and feared the people.'"

حدثنا أبو سلمة أخبرنا سليمان بن بلال عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن عن نهار العبدي أنه سمعه يحدث

أن النبي ﷺ قال إن الله تبارك وتعالى ليسأل العبد يوم القيامة حتى يقول ما منعك إذ رأيت المنكر تنكره فإذا لقن الله عبدا حجته قال يا رب وثقت بك وفرقت من الناس
