The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, one of you will be questioned to such an extent that he will be asked, 'What prevented you from denouncing wrongdoing when you saw it?' Whoever Allah inspires with his answer will say, 'Lord, I placed my hope in You and I feared the people.'"
حدثنا ابن نمير أخبرنا عبيد الله عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن معمر الأنصاري عن نهار
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن أحدكم ليسأل يوم القيامة حتى يكون فيما يسأل عنه أن يقال ما منعك أن تنكر المنكر إذ رأيته قال فمن لقنه الله حجته قال رب رجوتك وخفت الناس
