Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

On the day of the Trench we were kept from the prayers until a good while had passed after Maghrib, and that was before the revelation concerning fighting came down. When we were spared the fighting, which is what Allah meant by His words "and Allah repelled the disbelievers, and Allah is sufficient for the believers against fighting, and Allah is ever Powerful, Mighty" [Ahzab 33:25], the Prophet ﷺ ordered Bilal, who called the iqamah for Dhuhr, and he prayed it just as he would pray it at its proper time. Then Bilal called the iqamah for Asr, and he prayed it just as he would pray it at its proper time. Then he called the iqamah for Maghrib, and he prayed it just as he would pray it at its proper time. The narrator added that this was before the prayer of fear was revealed, "then pray on foot or riding" [Baqarah 2:239].
