Two men disagreed, or argued, one from Banu Khudrah and another from Banu Amr bin Awf, about the mosque founded on piety.The Khudri said, "It is the mosque of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."The Amri said, "It is the mosque of Quba."So they came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about it.He said, "It is this mosque," meaning the mosque of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "and there is much good in that one," meaning the mosque of Quba.
حدثنا يحيى عن أنيس بن أبي يحيى قال حدثني أبي قال سمعت
اختلف رجلان أو امتريا رجل من بني خدرة ورجل من بني عمرو بن عوف في المسجد الذي أسس على التقوى قال الخدري هو مسجد رسول الله ﷺ وقال العمري هو مسجد قباء فأتيا رسول الله ﷺ فسألاه عن ذلك فقال هو هذا المسجد لمسجد رسول الله ﷺ وقال في ذاك خير كثير يعني مسجد قباء
