The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you come upon a camel herder, call out, 'Camel herder!' three times. If he answers you, well and good. Otherwise, milk a camel and drink without causing any damage. And if you come upon the wall of an orchard, call out, 'Owner of the orchard!' three times. If he answers you, well and good. Otherwise, eat."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said, "Hospitality is for three days. Whatever exceeds that is charity."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا الجريري عن أبي نضرة
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا أتيت على راعي إبل فناد يا راعي الإبل ثلاثا فإن أجابك وإلا فاحلب واشرب من غير أن تفسد وإذا أتيت على حائط بستان فناد يا صاحب الحائط ثلاثا فإن أجابك وإلا فكل وقال رسول الله ﷺ الضيافة ثلاثة أيام فما زاد فصدقة
