Marwan delivered the sermon before the prayer on the day of Eid. A man stood up and said, "The prayer used to come before the sermon."Marwan replied, "That practice has been abandoned, so-and-so."Then Abu Saeed Khudri stood and said, "As for this man, he has fulfilled his duty. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable, then with his tongue. If he is unable, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith.'"
حدثنا يزيد أخبرني شعبة عن قيس بن مسلم
خطب مروان قبل الصلاة في يوم العيد فقام رجل فقال إنما كانت الصلاة قبل الخطبة فقال ترى ذلك يا أبا فلان فقام أبو سعيد الخدري فقال أما هذا فقد قضى ما عليه سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من رأى منكرا فليغيره بيده فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه وذلك أضعف الإيمان
Its isnad is sahih. Qays bin Muslim Jadali is trustworthy, and Tariq bin Shihab is a trustworthy tabii who saw the Prophet ﷺ, as previously mentioned, and the hadith has already appeared at 11015.
