A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, we live in a land full of lizards. What do you instruct us to do?"He replied, "It has reached me that a nation from the Children of Israil was transformed into beasts, and I do not know which beasts they are."So he neither commanded nor forbade it.
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون حدثنا داود بن أبي هند عن أبي نضرة
جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إنا بأرض مضبة فما تأمرنا قال بلغني أن أمة من بني إسرائيل مسخت دواب فما أدري أي الدواب هي فلم يأمر ولم ينه
