An Arabi asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about emigration. He replied, "Woe to you, the matter of emigration is hard. Do you have any camels?"The man said, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you pay the charity due on them?"He answered, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you lend them out for others to benefit from?"He answered, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you milk them on the day they come to water and share the milk?"He answered, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ then said, "Work from beyond the seas as you wish, for Allah will never let any of your deeds go to waste."
حدثنا عبد الله بن الحارث حدثني الأوزاعي عن ابن شهاب عن عطاء بن يزيد الليثي
أن أعرابيا سأل رسول الله ﷺ عن الهجرة فقال ويحك إن الهجرة شأنها شديد فهل لك من إبل قال نعم قال ألست تؤدي صدقتها قال بلى قال ألست تمنح منها قال بلى قال ألست تحلبها يوم وردها قال بلى قال فاعمل من وراء البحار ما شئت فإن الله لن يترك من عملك شيئا
