I believe he traced this back to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Any believer who gives a thirsty believer a drink to quench his thirst, Allah will give him to drink on the Day of Resurrection from the sealed pure wine. Any believer who feeds a hungry believer, Allah will feed him from the fruits of Paradise. And any believer who clothes a believer who lacks clothing, Allah will clothe him from the green garments of Paradise."

أراه قد رفعه إلى النبي ﷺ قال أيما مؤمن سقى مؤمنا شربة على ظمإ سقاه الله يوم القيامة من الرحيق المختوم وأيما مؤمن أطعم مؤمنا على جوع أطعمه الله من ثمار الجنة وأيما مؤمن كسا مؤمنا ثوبا على عري كساه الله من خضر الجنة
