Harith bin Muawiya reported,

Ati al-Kindi reported that he traveled to Umar bin Khattab to ask him about three matters. He said, when he arrived in Medina, Umar asked him, "What has brought you here?"He replied, "I have come to ask you about three matters."Umar said, "What are they?"He said, "Sometimes my wife and I are together in a cramped dwelling, and the time for prayer arrives. If she and I pray side by side, she stands right next to me, and if she prays behind me, she has to step outside the dwelling."Umar said, "Place a cloth as a screen between you and her, then she may pray beside you if you wish.""And about the two rak'ahs after Asr?"Umar replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade me from them."He continued, "And about storytelling and preaching to the public, for they have been pressing me to take it up."Umar said, "Do as you wish," as if reluctant to forbid him.He said, "I only wanted to act according to your counsel."Umar said, "I fear for you that you will preach and then feel yourself rising above your audience in your own estimation, then preach again and rise further, until it seems to you that you are above them like the Pleiades in the sky. Then Allah will place you beneath their feet on the Day of Resurrection by the same measure."
