Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Paradise and Hell boasted to one another. Hell said, 'My Lord, the tyrants, the arrogant, the kings, and the noblemen enter me.' Paradise said, 'My Lord, the weak, the poor, and the destitute enter me.' So Allah said to Hell, 'You are My punishment, through you I strike whomever I will,' and He said to Paradise, 'You are My mercy, you encompass everything, and each of you shall have her fill.'Then Hell's inhabitants will be cast into her, yet she will say, 'Is there any more?' More will be cast into her, and she will say, 'Is there any more?' More will be cast into her, and she will say, 'Is there any more?' until Allah comes to her and places His foot upon her, at which she will shrink together and say, 'Enough, enough!'As for Paradise, her inhabitants will remain in her as long as Allah wills, then Allah will create for her whatever creation He wishes."

عن أبي سعيد الخدري

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال افتخرت الجنة والنار فقالت النار يا رب يدخلني الجبابرة والمتكبرون والملوك والأشراف وقالت الجنة أي رب يدخلني الضعفاء والفقراء والمساكين فيقول الله تبارك وتعالى للنار أنت عذابي أصيب بك من أشاء وقال للجنة أنت رحمتي وسعت كل شيء ولكل واحدة منكما ملؤها فيلقى في النار أهلها فتقول هل من مزيد قال ويلقى فيها وتقول هل من مزيد ويلقى فيها وتقول هل من مزيد حتى يأتيها تبارك وتعالى فيضع قدمه عليها فتزوى فتقول قدني قدني وأما الجنة فيبقى فيها أهلها ما شاء الله أن يبقى فينشئ الله لها خلقا ما يشاء
