The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My example and the example of the prophets before me is like a man who built a house and completed it except for one brick. Then I came and laid that final brick."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ مثلي ومثل النبيين من قبلي كمثل رجل بنى دارا فأتمها إلا لبنة واحدة فجئت أنا فأتممت تلك اللبنة
