Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the people of Paradise have entered Paradise and the people of the Fire have entered the Fire, death will be brought forward in the form of a speckled ram and made to stand between Paradise and the Fire. It will be said, 'People of Paradise, do you recognize this?' They will stretch their necks and look, then say, 'Yes, this is death.' Then it will be said, 'People of the Fire, do you recognize this?' They will stretch their necks and look, then say, 'Yes, this is death.' Then the order will be given for it to be slaughtered, and it will be said, 'People of Paradise, eternity with no death. People of the Fire, eternity with no death.'"Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited, "And warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be decided, while they are in heedlessness" [Maryam 19:39], and he gestured with his hand.Muhammad bin Ubayd said in his version, "When the people of Paradise have entered Paradise and the people of the Fire have entered the Fire, death will be brought forward in the form of a speckled ram."

حدثنا أبو معاوية ومحمد بن عبيد قالا حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح

عن أبي سعيد قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا دخل أهل الجنة الجنة وأهل النار النار يجاء بالموت كأنه كبش أملح فيوقف بين الجنة والنار فيقال يا أهل الجنة هل تعرفون هذا قال فيشرئبون فينظرون ويقولون نعم هذا الموت قال فيقال يا أهل النار هل تعرفون هذا قال فيشرئبون فينظرون ويقولون نعم هذا الموت قال فيؤمر به فيذبح قال ويقال يا أهل الجنة خلود لا موت ويا أهل النار خلود لا موت قال ثم قرأ رسول الله ﷺ {وأنذرهم يوم الحسرة إذ قضي الأمر وهم في غفلة} قال وأشار بيده قال محمد بن عبيد في حديثه إذا دخل أهل الجنة الجنة وأهل النار النار يجاء بالموت كأنه كبش أملح
