The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned his uncle Abu Talib in a gathering and said, "Perhaps my intercession will benefit him on the Day of Resurrection, so that he will be placed in a shallow pool of fire reaching only to his ankles, though it will cause his brain to boil."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا ليث يعني ابن سعد عن ابن الهاد عن عبد الله بن الخباب
أن رسول الله ﷺ ذكر عنده عمه أبو طالب فقال لعله تنفعه شفاعتي يوم القيامة فيجعل في ضحضاح من نار يبلغ كعبه يغلي منه دماغه
