The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The believers in this world are of three categories. Those who believed in Allah and His Messenger, then did not doubt, and strove with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah. And the one whom people trust with their wealth and their lives. And the one who, when he is on the verge of some worldly desire, abandons it for the sake of Allah ."
Its chain of transmission is daif. Rushdin was previously graded hasan in his narration, but he was not corroborated here, and likewise Abu Samh Darraj bin Saman Sahmi. As for Abu Haytham Sulayman bin Amr bin Ubayd, he is acceptable, and the hadith was narrated solely by Ahmad. Haythami mentioned it in 1/52, 53, and did not weaken it on account of Rushdin, but he neglected to mention Rushdin, and mentioned the disagreement concerning Abu Samh.
