We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ crying out loudly in talbiyah for Hajj. When we had performed tawaf around the House, he said, "Make it an Umrah, except for those who have brought the sacrificial animal."So we made it an Umrah and exited the state of ihram. Then on the Day of Tarwiyah, we cried out in talbiyah for Hajj and set off to Mina.
