The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have considered ordering the prayer to be established, then going out with my young men carrying bundles of firewood to set fire upon people in their homes who hear the call to prayer yet do not come to it."Yazid asked, "Was this regarding the Friday prayer or another?"He replied, "I never heard Abu Hurayrah mention the Friday prayer or any other in this matter except in this way."
حدثنا كثير حدثنا جعفر حدثنا يزيد بن الأصم
قال رسول الله ﷺ لقد هممت أن آمر بالصلاة فتقام ثم أخرج بفتياني معهم حزم الحطب فأحرق على قوم في بيوتهم يسمعون النداء ثم لا يأتون الصلاة فسأل يزيد أفي الجمعة هذا أم في غيرها قال ما سمعت أبا هريرة يذكر جمعة ولا غيرها إلا هكذا
