From the Prophet ﷺ, and Hammad bin Salama narrated to us from Habib bin Shaheed from al-Hasan, authentically from the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Three traits, whoever has them is a hypocrite, even if he fasts, prays, and claims to be a Muslim. Whoever, when he speaks, lies. When he promises, breaks his promise. And when he is entrusted, betrays the trust."
