Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

When I narrate to you a hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I would rather fall from the sky than lie about him. But when I speak to you about matters between me and you, then know that war is deception.I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A people will emerge at the end of time, young in age and foolish."Abdul-Rahman said, "Foolish in their understanding. They will speak the words of the best of creation. They will recite the Quran, but it will not pass beyond their throats."Abdul-Rahman said, "Their faith will not pass beyond their throats. They will pass through the religion as an arrow passes through its target. So whenever you encounter them, kill them, for there is a reward with Allah on the Day of Resurrection for whoever kills them."Abdul-Rahman said, "So whenever you meet them, kill them, for killing them carries a reward for the one who kills them on the Day of Resurrection."

حدثنا وكيع حدثنا الأعمش وعبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن الأعمش عن خيثمة عن سويد بن غفلة قال

قال علي رضي الله عنه

إذا حدثتكم عن رسول الله ﷺ حديثا فلأن أخر من السماء أحب إلي من أن أكذب عليه وإذا حدثتكم فيما بيني وبينكم فإن الحرب خدعة سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول يخرج قوم في آخر الزمان أحداث الأسنان سفهاء وقال عبد الرحمن أسفاه الأحلام يقولون من قول خير البرية يقرءون القرآن لا يجاوز حناجرهم قال عبد الرحمن لا يجاوز إيمانهم حناجرهم يمرقون من الدين كما يمرق السهم من الرمية فإذا لقيتموهم فاقتلوهم فإن في قتلهم أجرا لمن قتلهم عند الله عز وجل يوم القيامة قال عبد الرحمن فإذا لقيتهم فاقتلهم فإن قتلهم أجر لمن قتلهم يوم القيامة
