The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the prayer is called, do not come to it running. Come to it walking calmly. Whatever you catch, pray it, and whatever you miss, complete it afterward. For when one of you is heading to the prayer, he is already in a state of prayer."
حدثنا عثمان بن عمر أخبرنا مالك عن العلاء بن عبد الرحمن عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا ثوب بالصلاة فلا تأتوها وأنتم تسعون وأتوها وعليكم السكينة فما أدركتم فصلوا وما فاتكم فأتموا فإن أحدكم في صلاة ما كان يعمد إلى الصلاة
