I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Do not turn away from your fathers, for whoever turns away from his father has committed disbelief."
حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد حدثنا حيوة حدثني جعفر بن ربيعة القرشي أن عراك بن مالك أخبره أنه
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول لا ترغبوا عن آبائكم فمن رغب عن أبيه فإنه كفر
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it 8/194 in the Book of Inheritance, chapter on one who claims descent from someone other than his father, and Muslim related it in the Book of Faith, chapter on the status of faith of one who disowns his father, 1/80, no. 62.
