My dear friend ﷺ advised me to do three things, which I will never abandon until I die. He instructed me to pray the two units of the forenoon prayer, to fast three days of every month, and never to sleep without first praying the witr.

Its isnad is sahih. It has occurred previously in 2/402, 499 of the printed edition. Haywa, also called Hayat, is Ibn Shurayh bin Safwan bin Malik Tujibi, Abu Zura, the well-known Egyptian jurist. Everyone praised him. Zahra bin Mabad is trustworthy, and his father is acceptable.
