The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah the Exalted said, "I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him whenever he remembers Me. By Allah, Allah is more joyful at the Tawba of His servant than any of you would be upon finding his lost animal in the wilderness. Whoever draws near to Me by a hand's span, I draw near to him by a cubit. Whoever draws near to Me by a cubit, I draw near to him by an arm's length. And when he comes to Me walking, I come to him at a run."

عن النبي ﷺ قال قال الله تعالى أنا عند ظن عبدي بي وأنا معه حيث يذكرني والله أشد فرحا بتوبة عبده من أحدكم يجد ضالته بالفلاة ومن يتقرب إلي شبرا تقربت إليه ذراعا ومن تقرب إلي ذراعا تقربت إليه باعا وإذا أقبل يمشي أقبلت أهرول
