The Prophet ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you about the best of people? A man who holds the reins of his horse in the cause of Allah. Shall I tell you about the one ranked next after him? A man who keeps to himself among a flock of sheep or a small flock, establishing the prayer, paying the zakat, and worshipping Allah without associating anything with Him."
حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو وسريج قالا حدثنا فليح عن عبد الله يعني ابن معمر وهو أبو طوالة عن سعيد بن يسار
أن النبي ﷺ قال ألا أخبركم بخير الناس رجل أخذ بعنان فرسه في سبيل الله ألا أخبركم بخير الناس منزلة بعده رجل معتزل في غنم أو غنيمة يقيم الصلاة ويؤتي الزكاة ويعبد الله لا يشرك به شيئا
