He climbed up to Abu Hurairah on the roof of the mosque and found him performing ablution. Abu Hurairah extended the washing up his upper arms, then turned to me and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'My ummah on the Day of Resurrection will be those with bright foreheads and shining limbs from the traces of ablution. So whoever is able to extend his radiance, let him do so.'"I do not know whether the last statement was from the words of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or from the words of Abu Hurairah.
حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو حدثنا فليح
أنه رقي إلى أبي هريرة على ظهر المسجد فوجده يتوضأ فرفع في عضديه ثم أقبل علي فقال إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن أمتي يوم القيامة هي الغر المحجلون من أثر الوضوء من استطاع أن يطيل غرته فليفعل لا أدري من قول رسول الله ﷺ أو من قول أبي هريرة
