Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah prescribed Friday upon those who came before us, but they differed concerning it, and Allah guided us to it. So the people follow us in this matter. This day belongs to us, and tomorrow belongs to the Jews, and the day after tomorrow belongs to the Christians. The Jews have Saturday, and the Christians have Sunday."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن الله عز وجل كتب الجمعة على من كان قبلنا فاختلف الناس فيها وهدانا الله لها فالناس لنا فيها تبع فاليوم لنا ولليهود غدا وللنصارى بعد غد لليهود يوم السبت وللنصارى يوم الأحد
