The Prophet ﷺ said that a woman entered the Fire because of a cat she had tied up. She neither let it go to feed on the small creatures of the earth, nor did she feed it or give it water, until it died.
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا هشام عن محمد
عن النبي ﷺ أن امرأة دخلت النار في هرة ربطتها فلم تدعها تصيب من خشاش الأرض ولم تطعمها ولم تسقها حتى ماتت
Its isnad is sahih. His saying "let him pray" means let him supplicate for the host of the invitation, as mentioned before. The hadith has preceded at 10449.
