The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the slave who prepares your food and toils over it, "Invite him to eat with you. If he refuses, then place some of the food in his hand. And when you strike them, do not strike them on their faces."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا ابن أبي ذئب عن عجلان وإسماعيل بن عمر قال حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب المعنى عن عجلان
أن النبي ﷺ قال في المملوك يصنع طعامك ويعانيه فادعه فإن أبى فأطعمه في يده وإذا ضربتموهم فلا تضربوهم على وجوههم
