The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Change this gray hair and do not imitate the Jews or the Christians."
حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا محمد عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ غيروا هذا الشيب ولا تشبهوا باليهود ولا بالنصارى
Its chain is sahih. Tirmidhi related it, 4/232, no. 1752, and said, Hasan sahih, and Nasai, 8/137, in the chapter on adornment, permission to use dye.
