Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah 'My servant is as he expects of Me, and I am with him whenever he calls upon Me. If he remembers Me within himself, I remember him within Myself, and if he mentions Me in a gathering, I mention him in a gathering better and finer than theirs. If he draws a hand's span nearer to Me, I draw an arm's length nearer to him, and if he draws an arm's length nearer, I draw the span of two outstretched arms nearer. And if he comes to Me walking, I come to him running.'"

وبإسناده عن النبي ﷺ قال قال الله عز وجل عبدي عند ظنه بي وأنا معه إذا دعاني فإن ذكرني في نفسه ذكرته في نفسي وإن ذكرني في ملإ ذكرته في ملإ خير منهم وأطيب وإن تقرب مني شبرا تقربت منه ذراعا وإن تقرب ذراعا تقربت باعا وإن أتاني يمشي أتيته هرولة
