The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no envy except in two cases. A man whom Allah has given the Quran, and he recites it throughout the night and throughout the day, so another man hears him and says, 'If only I had been given what this man has been given, I would do with it what he does with it.' And a man whom Allah has given wealth, and he spends it up in what is right, so another man says, 'If only I had been given what this man has been given, I would do with it what he does with it.'"
