The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no envy except in two cases. A man whom Allah has given the Quran, so he recites it through the hours of the night and the hours of the day, and another man hears him and says, 'If only I had been given what this man has been given, I would do with it what he does.' And a man whom Allah has given wealth, which he spends in the cause of truth, and another man says, 'If only I had been given what this man has been given, I would do with it what he does.'"
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر وروح المعنى قالا حدثنا شعبة عن سليمان عن ذكوان
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال لا حسد إلا في اثنتين رجل أعطاه الله القرآن فهو يتلوه آناء الليل وآناء النهار فسمعه رجل فقال يا ليتني أوتيت مثل ما أوتي هذا فعملت فيه مثل ما يعمل فيه هذا ورجل آتاه الله مالا فهو يهلكه في الحق فقال رجل يا ليتني أوتيت مثل ما أوتي هذا فعملت فيه مثل ما يعمل فيه هذا
Its isnad is sahih, and Haythami likewise said in 3/108, "The men of Ahmad are the men of Sahih." This has already occurred at 3651, and it was also narrated by Bukhari, 9/189, Muslim in the book of the traveler's prayer, 266, Tirmidhi, 1936, and Ibn Majah, 4209.10166m - Yahya bin Adam narrated to us, he said, Yazid bin Abdul-Aziz narrated to us, from Amash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Saeed, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no envy except in two things," and he mentioned the same as it.Sahih (10166m).
